Freezer Organisation

About 10 months ago I organised our side by side fridge/freezer. It worked really well for awhile but some of the containers I was using were not big enough to hold what I wanted. And I have a thing for labelling things....if you haven't noticed....:)

Peas & Corn Storage using decor containers

The labels are printed on self adhesive photo paper. The labels that are attached to the containers with handles are laminated. I am not too sure how long the labels are going to last but it's been a couple of weeks and so far so good. I love opening up the freezer and seeing my little labels.

I have reorganised our pantry too I will be posting that soon.

  1. Looks awesome.
I need to get my freezer more organised. I've tried to dedicate certain shelves fer certain things, then something doesn't fit and it throws it all out of whack again!
I'm sure I'll find a system that works eventually

  2. Storage bins in a side by side freezer is a fantastic idea. You are utilizing so much space. I hope your labels hold out, they are really cute!

  7. Great ideas. I would suggest that people could use freezer date labels with your labeling process as well. This way they know when their food is going to expire or my problem (when I put it in the freezer)..lol.

  9. Does the self adhesive paper really last in the moisture? I don't usually label things unless I have them in clear plastic bags. Things like gravy and cooked meat will be hard to distinguish form each other without a label. I may try the photo paper.
