Laundry Before & Afters Full Reveal - OrgJunkie 29 Day Challenge

Well can you believe it everyone we have done it!!! Thank you to all that particpated in the Org Junkies 29 Day Challenge I can't wait to see your new decluttered spaces

1. What space did you decide to organize and why?

I chose to organise my laundry. Doing laundry is not one of my favourite things and whenever I looked in the cupboards I thought what a mess! I thought if I organise this and make it look nice then I won't mind going in there to do the laundry.

2. What steps did you take to ensure you completed the space within the 29 day timeline?

I took on this room as well as my kitchen I was on a roll with this reorganising bug. I made sure that I didn't spend too long doing each task because you can get overwhelmed. My aim was one cupboard a week.

3. What was the hardest part of the challenge for you and how did you overcome it?

The hardest part was our broom cupboard. It is a odd width and depth and I was not utilising the space effectively. My solution was to find containers that would fit the whole space but after searching and searching I could not find anything to suit. Which was a good thing as it turned out because after the purging and relocating I actually have unused space in this cupboard.

4. What did you do with the “stuff” you were able to purge out of your newly organized space?

The majority of the items from the laundry were relocatable items that went to the garage for my husband to put away. The rest was rubbish.

5. Tell me one of your proudest moments during this challenge?

Finishing seeing the end product

6. Explain any organizing “tools” you used to help you create additional space and to establish some limits and boundaries?

Evaluating the space, purging, relocating items & containers.

7. What is ONE piece of advice you’d give to someone else to encourage them on their organizational journey

One step at a time
